A harmonious mix of antioxidant-rich cacao and adaptogenic mushrooms designed to elevate vitality, boost mood, and support sustained energy. These brownies are gluten-free, naturally sweetened and filled with functional goodness.
Make It a Ritual
Before you begin, take a moment. Breathe deeply. Put on a playlist that brings you joy. Let this be more than just baking - let it be a self-care practice.
Ingredients
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup SANA Energising Cacao Blend
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar or maple syrup
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 2 organic eggs (or flax eggs for plant-based)
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or chopped walnuts for extra indulgence (optional)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a small baking tin with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cacao powder, SANA Energising Cacao Blend, sea salt, and baking soda.
3. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, sweetener, melted coconut oil, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a thick batter forms. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
5. Pour into the prepared tin and smooth out the top with a spatula.
6. Bake for 20–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (a few moist crumbs are perfect).
7. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm for maximum bliss, or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Mindful Moment
Enjoy as part of your morning tea, best consumed during the day and avoided in the evening. As you take each bite, pause. Notice the richness of the cacao and savour the delicious flavours.
These brownies are more than a treat - they’re an invitation to slow down, reconnect and honour your body’s need for both pleasure and purpose.
